How to create a Facebook Lead Ad?

In this video, I am going to walk you step-by-step on how to create a Facebook Lead Ad campaign. For the full explanation of how to create the perfect prompt, watch this video.

  1. Go to the tab ‘Advertise’ and click on ‘Meta’.
  2. On the top right, click on the button ‘Goal’ and select ‘Leads’.
  3. Click on Edit Prompt.
    1. Website: the direct link to the property.
    2. Brand name: address of the listing.
    3. Describe what you are advertising:
      1. Go to ChatGPT and insert the following prompt: Give me a 100-character advertising summary for this property I am selling.
      2. Copy all the information on your website about the listing and paste that into ChatGPT.
      3. Copy the advertising summary ChatGPT wrote for us and paste that into ‘Describe what you are advertising’.
  4. Make any changes in the copy and headlines as needed.
  5. Upload your images, focus on the key features of the house, such as the forefront and the garden or any other unique features. Click on the image to select the different Formats.
  6. Call to action should be: ‘Learn More’.
  7. Select ‘Targeting’. Make sure you have selected the Special Ad category Housing.
  8. Scroll down and select the location you are advertising in.
  9. Toggle of ‘Auto Placements’ and only select:
    1. Facebook Feed.
    2. Facebook Marketplace.
    3. Facebook Video Feed.
    4. Instagram Feed.
    5. Instagram Profile Feed.
  10. Leads: create a Facebook lead form.
    1. If you are making a lead form for a listing, you can follow these exact steps.
      1. Lead gen form name: give this the name of the address of the listing, or another name to make it organized for yourself.
      2. Greeting: you don’t have to include a greeting.
      3. Form type: Higher Intent
      4. Questions: add in the following order:
        1. Full Name.
        2. Email.
        3. Phone Number.
        4. Add a custom question, such as: what day is the best day to contact you?
  11. Privacy policy: include the privacy policy link from your website.
  12. Completion: the text people will see after filling in their information.
  13. Headline: Thank you, we will be in touch soon.
  14. Description: View here all the property details, if you have any questions you can contact me on [email] or [phone number].
  15. Call-to-action-button: View Website.
  16. Link: make sure this is the link that leads them directly to the property on your own website.
  17. Budget: include the budget. This is your daily ad budget.
  18. Optional: give the Ad Campaign a name, this can be the address of the listing.
  19. Launch your campaign!
  20. If you don’t want to launch it yet: click on the arrow next to ‘Launch Campaign’ and save it as a draft. You can find your drafts in the tab Advertise. If you scroll down, you see ‘Drafts’.
